【Guideline for Sustainable Events: English edition】

The Office of Sophia Sustainability Promotion is pleased to announce the release of the English Edition of our Sustainability Guidelines for Hosting Events.

These guidelines are designed to foster sustainability action within student life and activities. With reference to the TOKYO MICE (*1) Sustainability Guidelines developed by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government in 2019, we have curated a comprehensive checklist of steps for effective sustainable event management.

It comprises four key sections:

・Organization Development

・Pre-Event Planning

・Event Execution

・Post-Event Evaluation

We hope that this guideline will help you to incorporate sustainable best practices into your student initiatives and events!
