Invitation from Prof. Tara Pisani,
Boston College, SACRU WG2 member

This semester I am teaching an undergraduate course called Global Implications of Climate Change.  To help students look beyond the US and engage with the global dimensions of climate change, I would like to set up Zoom conversations with students from my class and students from international universities to discuss climate change impacts, governance, and civic actions as well as their impressions of COP27. If you or a colleague are teaching a related course and would like to have your students participate in a global conversation on climate change and COP27, please let me know.  We can add it to our list of the various ways we collaborate.

Dates for the conversations:

Nov 16, 17, 18, 21 (12 pm to 9 pm EST)

(for Asian audience: 7-9 pm EST (day-1) would be 9-11 am JST, e.g. Nov 16 at 7pm EST is Nov 17 at 9 am JST // or Nov 17 at 8 am HKT )

I am looking to arrange these between 12pm and 9pm EST to accommodate multiple time zones.  We would need a facilitator who speaks English on your end to help with questions. I have discussion leaders for my class that will act as facilitators on our end.  Facilitators will help get the conversation going, but the format of the conversations will be open to the participants’ curiosity and interests.
